Gestalt workshops

Personal and professional development

Both laughter and tears are common in our workshops where learning is approached as serious play and trust tends to build very rapidly.  Our programmes enable participants to experience at first hand a unique blend of Gestalt informed personal and professional development.  Though the workshop title is pre-determined, the weighting of content and exploration of themes is uniquely tailored to the needs of each group of learners.

Participant numbers are restricted to a maximum of ten, so as to allow for personal coaching and tuition.  Ample printed material is also provided, thus alleviating the need to take notes.  Learning contracts for action beyond the workshop may be formulated to enable further ongoing development.

All the workshops described on the content page, and others upon request, can be tailored to individual client-systems for delivery in organisations within the UK or overseas.  Several have already been delivered internationally (Hong Kong and Shanghai, Normandy, Bucharest and Belgrade, Transylvania, Skyros and Malta) and they can be modified to meet the needs of clients in the private or public sectors.

Qualifications available

Gestalt in Action is affiliated to the European Association for Gestalt in Leadership and Organisational Development (EAGLOD).  Attendance at four workshops plus an account of learning may lead to the award of an EAGLOD Certificate in Gestalt Practice.  The EAGLOD Diploma in Gestalt Practice may be gained after eight workshops and submission of a case study.

This programme of workshops has been accredited by the Institute for the Development of Humanistic Psychology (IDHP) as a suitable vehicle for those working towards a diploma in humanistic psychology.
