European Association for Gestalt in Leadership and Organisational Development
Qualifications awarded for experiential learning
The programme of workshops offered by Gestalt in Action enables participants to experience at first hand a unique blend of Gestalt informed personal and professional development. Participants can benefit further by gaining qualifications validated by the European Association of Gestalt in Leadership and Organisational Development (EAGLOD), which is affiliated to the The European Centre for Psychotherapeutic Studies (Eurocps) and the European Association for Gestalt Therapy (EAGT).
Certificate in Gestalt Practice
Attendance at four Gestalt in Action workshops plus submission of an account of learning may lead to the award of an EAGLOD Certificate in Gestalt Practice. The account should comprise 1,000-2,000 words and drafts maybe discussed with the primary facilitator prior to submission.
Diploma in Gestalt Practice
To be awarded the EAGLOD Diploma, candidates must attend a further four workshops as a co-facilitator. They are then required to write up a case study of their professional practice, comprising 4,000-5,000 words. This should illuminate how they apply Gestalt principles in their work - be that coaching, counselling, management, teaching, group facilitation, team leadership, community healing, conflict resolution, self development or spiritual inquiry. Drafts may be sent to the workshop facilitator for advice prior to final submission.
Accreditation
These workshops have been accredited by the Institute for the Development of Human Potential (IDHP) as a suitable vehicle for those working towards the Diploma in Humanistic Psychology.
The EAGLOD Certificate in Gestalt Practice has been used by earlier qualifiers to gain credits at degree level with The Open University, and the EAGLOD Diploma has been accredited at post graduate level by several academic boards.
